This webinar will introduce you to Genomics Workbench v.12.0, which was released on November 28, 2018. We will be presenting a sneak preview of the basic features and showcase selected improvements in the new version making this webinar of interest both for new and our more seasoned users. The webinar will include a brief presentation, as well as a live demo focusing on the new Reference Data Manager and improved Genome Browser.

Speakers:

Sonali Ghosh, M.S.,

Sonali Ghosh is a Scientist with the QIAGEN’S Advanced Genomics team. She holds a Mtech in Bioinformatics from the West Bengal University of Technology. Previously, Sonali worked with Connexios Life Science Pvt. Ltd as a Computational Chemist, specializing in designing molecules using structure based- and/or pharmacophore- or ligand-based approaches. She joined QIAGEN in July 2015 as a NGS support specialist focusing on enabling our customers to get the most out of their NGS experiments.

Prakriti Mudvari, PhD,

Prakriti Mudvari, PhD is a Senior Scientist with the QIAGEN Bioinformatics Support team. Prakriti holds a PhD from the George Washington University. Following her graduate work she performed postdoctoral work at the George Washington University and at the Johns Hopkins University. Throughout her graduate and post-graduate years, she has worked with various microarray and NGS datasets for identifying gene expression and epigenetic changes in various cancer types. She joined QIAGEN as a NGS support specialist in April 2016.
